Check if the person is breathing. If the person is not breathing, tilt the head slightly and lift chin so you can open the air way. Then give two breaths(do for one second each) and watch the chest to see if it rises.
Step Five: Start compressions
Put both hands in the middle of the chest and push down about two inches. you will do about 30 compressions and keep the same pace. After 30 compressions give two breaths.

Step Six: do not stop
Keep the cycle going and do not stop unless in one of these situation:
you find an obvious sign of life, such as breathing
the scene becomes unsafe
another trained responder or EMS personnel takes over
